Tempus Fuzz

THIS PEDAL WILL SELF OSCILLATE AND IS DESIGNED TO DO THAT. IF YOU'VE GOT RUNAWAY FEEDBACK, REDUCE RECYCLE TO MINIMUM.

The Tempus Fuzz uses a PT2399 Delay IC to create a fuzz while retaining the time based effects. Sounds range from a dry in-your-face fuzz to spaced out shoegaze saturation.  Saturation, Shape & Recycle are interactive controls, allowing for a huge palette of sounds.

Controls:
Saturation - Adjusts intensity and character of gain
Shape - Adjusts the timbre of the fuzz. Rotating clockwise increases low end
Time - Sets delay time. 30-600 milliseconds
Balance - Blends between delayed signal and direct fuzz
Recycle - Adjusts amount of repeats, will cause oscillation at higher settings
Volume - Adjusts the output level

Modulation Mini-Switch - activates an envelope based modulation. An internal trimmer allows you to dial it from a subtle vibrato to broken glitched out noise.

Loopback Momentary Footswitch - Immediately kicks the pedal into oscillation. An internal Onset trimmer allows adjustments to the time it takes to reach full oscillation.

Half-Time Momentary Pushbutton - Immediately drops the delay time when pushed, when released, the delay time slowly ramps back up to the time set with the Delay control.

INTERNAL CONTROLS:
Expert mode dipswitch - enables the misbias fuzz mode. Recycle becomes a bias control while Saturation, Shape and Recycle become interactive filter controls.  To start, set Saturation, Shape and Balance to full up and slowly increase Recycle from minimum until the sound is no longer gated.

Onset Trimmer - adjusts the onset speed of oscillation when the Loopback footswitch is held down.

Modulation Trimmer - Adjusts the intensity of the envelope controlled modulation. Goes from a mild pitch variation to a broken gritty warble.

True Bypass, Requires 9 Volt 2.1mm Center Negative DC Power Supply (No batteries supported), 1590 BB2 Enclosure with top mount jacks.
